I visited Harrah’s-Chester Casino last Saturday evening, and played in a great 7 card stud game. This 15/30 limit stud game that runs every Saturday night is full of loose, action-hungry PA Poker players.
I started playing around 6:00 Pm and quit somewhere around midnight but was informed that the game went on until 3:00 AM.
My review of Harrah’s poker room would have to give a rating of 10 out of a possible 10 points for service, staff, and overall comfort in playing poker in their room.
I received a very warm welcome from Vito Nardelli, the Director of Poker Operations, as soon as I arrived at this warm and friendly poker room. I was also introduced to several other floor managers and dealers, that gave me a very warm welcome as well.
The dealers at Harrah’s Casino work closely with the floor personnel to provide Pa poker players with the absolute best poker experience that can be had from any Pa Casino.
Harrah’s-Chester is a top-notch, well organized poker room, that treats their patrons like royalty.
I can hardly wait to get back down there for another Saturday night 7 card stud game!
The Diamond Club at Harrah’s Chester charges a lot money for drinks. It should be free as drinks are free at all other Total Rewards Diamond Clubs. The food at Tamptation Buffet is really bad.
I played in the Saturday night game at Harrah’s-Chester with Blaine and I can vouch for the accuracy of his report. The action was fast and loose with thousands exchanging hands over the 9 hours of play. Blaine did not mention that food was served at tableside for very reasonable costs and all drinks were comped. Also, any player could ask for a washing of the deck at any time which, to some unfamiliar with the term, means hand reshuffling rather than machine shuffle. This is a non-smoking venue but there is a designated smoking area within feet of the tables.
I have been playing in this game since it’s inception 5 months ago and I love the action and the hospitality of the house. They cannot do enough for us because Harrah’s wants to be known as the only stud game venue outside of Atlantic City. They reserve a table for us every Saturday beginning at 5:30 PM.
